Happy Birthday to my sister! She turns 19 years old officially today. Due to her big day, we dined at Secret Garden, a high-class restaurant and also a pub in town. The paintings, decoration and design of the building create a relaxing ambience to the customers which makes it a perfect place to dine out. Other than that, a gramophone and old-style radio are placed right at the centre of the restaurant which made us feel that we were having meal at ancient time. We had a small bite of each meal, savouring every mouthful. I ordered smoked duck with beetroot crust, a very wise choice indeed. It was finger-licking good! Strongly recommend it!
After that, we went to Tow Bow Keong, a temple which is celebrating The Nine Emperor's God festival. We pushed our way through the throng and hardly able to squeeze ourselves to the altar. We bought Chinese pao (so-called turtle pao) , a must buy item at the temple before we made our way home.
